For many years, I worked at the heart of the construction industry as Managing Director of a company supplying specialist External Door Technicians to projects of all sizes. We were never the biggest team—but we were the ones people relied on to get the job done properly.

With over a decade of hands-on experience, I developed a proven approach that enabled us to install more than 10,000 doors to the highest standard. I also founded the Door Fitting Academy and introduced the “Door Health Check” to ensure doors were fully ready for homeowners.

Over a 14-year career in the door industry, I saw first-hand how defects can impact new homes—causing stress, unexpected costs, and ongoing issues.
